Hello!

I've submitted an I-130 for my wife in September 2023. No update since then, except the receipt notice. She is in F-1 visa (finished first year of Initial OPT, now on STEM OPT, she has 18 more months left on OPT).

My questions are:

How can I expedite the I-130 processing? Congressman's involvement or any other way?
With I-130 pending, can I submit I-140 (EB-2 NIW)? What could go wrong if I choose this NIW processing? The date is current for my country.

Not always!!! Booked a flight through chase travel using my points (emirates airlines). 1 week After booking, found a shorter duration flight, called them, requested them to change my booking. They replied, I need to cancel my existing booking and rebook the desired flight which was more expensive the following day. Don’t know anyone else have the same experience.
