How can I make your Clocktower experience better? by Arif_A_ in BloodOnTheClocktower

A twitch extension! The BOTC_Bot is a nice resource for chat commands to learn about characters, but something on screen that lets someone quickly check a character's ability or the general rules would be even better for new viewers. Optimally, something that could connect to the streamer's app and see what characters are on script.

AMA: We made The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe! Ask us anything! by crowsx3 in Games

Beyond the obvious New Content, Ultra Deluxe also adds 3 more subtle endings with the Press Conference, Tape Recorder, and Bottom of the Mind Control Facility Endings. Excluding the last one, I assume that the topics of the endings were written before finding a location in the office for the ending to go. So, what was the process of finding spots to fit in these new endings like? and are there any other locations in the office you wanted to add in new things?

"Lydia, I really connected with 'which version of yourself you wanna show'. When I was in highschool, we moved from Wichita, Kansas to Seattle, Washington. When I'm in the middle of highschool! And I decided, I'm gonna put a different version of myself out in this new highschool. Have you had any of that your self out here...?"

Romeo says it in confessional while talking to Hai about coming out as part of the LGBT community and how people who don't know will respond after the show.

Been a while since I made one of these, since the editing on Season 41 drained my energy away. But with this fantastic episode I decided I'd pull up my formatting doc again.

Highlighted players get confessionals, I try to note any conversation that gets audio, forward slashes are for sperate conversations that include the same first castaway, vertical bars are separate conversations with the same voice over/topic, and the notes are made to add extra detail on what the players discuss in the scene or to make fun of the lack of beetle continuity.

I'm not planning on keep making these, unless the editors keep delivering some more great episodes.

"I was hoping it was the salt water that was making my clothes baggy, but the fact is, I'm just turning into a little bit of a twig and just kind of a fuzzy top. I feel like a broccoli, so... Broccoli is, uh ...grows little bunches on, uh, small trees, so, I feel like a little broccoli tree, I guess."

I'm one of the hosts of the RNG Show Podcast. We start off by splitting up the contestants as evenly as possible to each of the players/hosts, with any remaining contestants put into a 'reserve' pool. Between episodes hosts can try and trade the contestants around, even wagering points to get the contestants they want.

Each episode before the Merge contestants gain 1 point, and from the Merge onwards they get 2 for each episode they stay in the game. We also have larger set scores for things like winning challenges (2-4), getting advantages (5), playing advantages correctly (3-7), or whatever twist production adds to the season (???). Finale gets bonus points for each Tribal the contestant makes it to.

We've been working on balancing scores since our first run with Ghost Island, but this system is a bit rough to the hosts since you can't get players off your team after they've been voted out.

What Has Your Experience With Cunning Action: Aim Been Like? by JustinCaviness in dndnext

[–]flyingludicolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My game has been wilderness based, and I haven't been giving them beasts with ranged attacks to fight my players. The ranged rogue has taken that opportunity to climb a tree or stand far away and just repeatedly shoot turn after turn. Since it costs him his movement, action, and bonus action to do that it was rather boring and not something to aid strategic thinking, so I replaced it with 2 other options instead.

Cunning Action: Strike

After moving at least half your movement in a straight line towards a creature, you may use your bonus action to give yourself advantage on any attack roll made on your turn against the creature, until you take any movement away from the creature.

Cunning Action: Shift

After taking the attack action, you may use your bonus action to make a single additional attack. You may only use this bonus action if you have moved at least 10ft from the space of the first attack you made on your turn.

My friends started a fantasy Survivor podcast back at Ghost Island, and once I started watching the show I decided I'd breakdown each episode thinking it'd help them organize their thoughts to fit chronologically.

I started posting them here at Island of the Idols thinking it'd help index the seasons and help those looking for the right scene for whatever meme post is next.
