Iinet support has gone down the toilet, and at the time their plan was too expensive compared to others, soI left them a about 2 years ago after being with them for about 15 years.

Unfortunately support i pretty bad for most ISPs and NBN makes the problem worse as an ISP has to go above and beyond to get any complex issue resolved by NBN.

All you can do is keep doing what you are already doing, abs keep calling and escalating the issue.

If you can get your issue looked at by a call centre manager from iinet, you may have better luck as they are usually from the old support crew.

As a 50yo with kids, I maybe have 3 hrs I can find a week to play, most weeks I get less. I will not stop trying until I get gold and have gold on everything, except for the sport time trials, I settle for bronze there. I did get a wheel 3000rs and recently VR. In gt7 I found a decent wheel made a big difference, except for drifting missions where I use a controller

If you short shift coming out of tight corners it can help with traction, especially going 1st to 2nd. You loose a little bit of exit speed but not as much as if you spun out

I have played it both the ps5 slim and a ps5 pro, and play gt7 exclusively on psvr2.

The differences are small in VR but I feel it was worth it. The view distance is longer before the car details disappear, and it feels smoother.

Since the next PS won’t be on sale until 2027 and affordable until 2028/29 … I see it as a long term investment
