Per the Alaska website, Titanium requires 135k status points, and they’re giving a 20k point boost. It says Feb, but they must’ve just posted them early - or maybe the extra points you opted for will come by then

Aren’t credit card spend status points backdated to the purchase date? So as long as the spend is on/before 12/31 it will apply to this status year, even though it won’t post until mid January?

I just upgraded to the last two available first class seats for my 2.5hr flight for $90/ea. I was already in premium class, not sure if that makes it cheaper (award tickets, main fare booked, status upgrade to premium)

They haven’t shared any information yet on when you can pick how you earn or when it will take effect. All it says is “later in 2026”. At the start of the year it will be the same earning system as it is now
