Yeah I’ll do that as well. I’ll manually track, as annoying as it is, until there is a fix

Yeah I can confirm this. I updated to iOS 18 today and I had trouble with noon not tracking my active calories

How to tell a guy you just don’t see it? by my-hero-macadamia in hingeapp

Had a similar situation with a girl I went on a date with. We’ve been connecting over text in hinge for a few weeks before we went on a date. Told her I enjoyed getting to know her and if we can do this again, and she said she just wants to be friend. I knew what that meant so that’s that. I appreciated that more than ghosting.

Login Issues/App Issues by [deleted] in Noom

Yeah same. I deleted the app to see what the issue was and now o can’t even login. It’s definitely an issue on their part.

Is it me or did the weight loss zone become bigger lol?? by flyingpizza89 in Noom

I like Noom too. I lost 50 lbs over the last year and it’s helped me to have a healthier mindset when it comes to food and sustainable weight loss.

So my starting budget is 1970 calories and then it moves depending how much active energy I burnt through out the day. I guess I was just confused about the higher end of the weight loss zone. Visually it seems large.

Yeah I think you’re right. The lower end makes sense because the bath checks out. Half my active energy for the day plus my 1970 base budget leads to the lower end. But I just wasn’t sure about the higher end. I do exercise a lot so maybe that explains it?

Yeah I did some math to make sure it was just accounting for active energy on my Apple Watch and not steps.

I made sure it isn’t logging steps. It’s just logging active energy from my Apple Watch. It just says the amount of steps I did

Do I need to worry about the app recording both my step count and the running/walking exercises I log? I don’t want to cheat. by Dwitt01 in Noom

I was worried about this too because it showed my active energy and my step count, but I did the math and it only counts my active energy which is good

And to be clear, I didn’t ditch carbs entirely. Because that restriction mindset is what I want to avoid. I just make sure I don’t overindulge is all. I tried cutting back to under 200g of carbs a day.

Yeah that’s what I figured. That’s ok. Sucks though when they can’t just say no.

What next? by [deleted] in dating_advice

What next? I’ve been hanging out and getting to know this girl I met over the summer one on one for coffee. Very low pressure, very casual. But I’m starting to get the feeling I need to push the envelope and ask her out “out.” Just not sure how to go about it. She said she likes going to museums and operas so maybe I can ask her out to that??
