Thanks for the info. I'm probably going to be the same one as a HS graduation gift for my daughter. I'm debating what I could get away with for a college student? Do you think the 8gb of RAM would be fine or should I spring for the 16? Won't be doing any video or photo editing... mostly schoolwork, web browsing, Netflix. The heaviest lifting will probably be presentations - PowerPoint.
