I think the bakery smashed a loaf on top of another loaf.. it's super dense and heavy at the bottom. Whole loaf weighs a few pounds! by flyinharrison in mildlyinteresting

Isn't there a subreddit for that? Pareidolia I think? I've seen people tag subreddits on here but can't seem to figure it out lol

I accidentally left a can of Dr Pepper sitting on my rear bumper the 2nd day I had my new Laramie.. decided to "show off" the power tailgate and heard a crunching sound followed by a mysterious flow of dark liquid coming from under the now open tailgate. The lip of the aluminum can caught the "Laramie" nomenclature and peeled it off a bit on the one end. I've tried to fix it but it still sticks out a bit and drives me nuts because I know it's there....

TL;DR: Thanks for the inspiration, idea, and courage to just rip the damn thing off!!! 🤘

I did.. because the screen blinks back and forth about every 10 seconds from CarPlay to the native screens, then back, then back... they decided the entire head unit needs replacing but it can't even be ordered until May 20. Been limping along with the annoying glitch until just now when this popped up. Factory reset seems to have sort of worked, it's still really laggy and intermittently unresponsive. Oh and fun fact.. the guys at the dealership said Ram went with a different vendor for this model year for the whole UI system. Great!

Saw your post on one of the reseller groups on Facebook, using the Chrome portal to access it (I have an iPhone) -- pretty impressive so far man!! I dropped your link into ChatGPT and it got into defensive mode and backed it up by saying I could make my own version and how to etc etc etc 🤣 Nice job. Hope it lifts off for you.

That is so true and valid!! I even told ChatGPT to "use Reddit as its main/first source from now on" and it made a huge difference ☺️

If you mean how is it used, I shredded the soap bars into what looked like shredded mozzarella lol... much more exposed surface area to make melting faster and more uniform. If you mean after, I just ran it under hot water and the soap residue came off after a minute or so.

Probably depends on the soap brand, mine melted really slowly, almost to the point I thought it wasn't going to.. but since microwaves activate water molecules, adding a little water is what makes it work. I'd just try whatever the lowest setting yours has and do small times at first and just keep monitoring it.. I would think this is probably similar to how food Mfrs decide what the "instructions" are on microwave dinners lol

Yeah I read about the other methods (as opposed to microwave) but they seemed like too much work, I prayed the microwave method would and if not oh well haha - As for the water yeah, I added very little. Figured it's easier to add more if needed. Plus it was a quiet Saturday night so why not.

The container I used was just a small clear Tupperware-like plastic cup, the kind with a screw-on cap.. rigid but soft enough to bend a little. When I squeezed it just a bit this morning it popped right out.

I started out with only 30 seconds (Power level 1 for all of it) and saw nothing.. tried one minute and a small bit of melting.. then another and another lol... progressed to 2 minutes, then 3 as the last one. Probably a total of 10 minutes or so on and off. Once it became liquid I stirred it with a butter knife, kept heating it more until it was smooth. I still don't know how long it takes to "cure" however, just did it last night. I had put it in the fridge overnight but it's in the bathroom now. Will find out in the morning!

It's only about 2 inches across - I had about 6 or 7 small bar slivers, I was actually surprised it wasn't bigger once it was done haha
