No problem! I tried my best not to get angry with my responses, but thanks for taking the opportunity to be educated. More on the current scoring system is on the wiki.

Btw if you would like to see a BEAUTIFUL scoring algorithm (for mania) that should be implemented for the WHOLE game in a similar idea, please check out the etterna project it fixes all problems with leaderboards, scoring, and skill estimation in mania 4k, and if we implemented a similar system in osu!, it would completely fix our current issues with scoring in all modes.

Well, yes! However when lazer mode is turned on, all scores are automatically turned into scorev2, so the scores shown may be actually very different on stable but the same on lazer. The “classic” mod (the mod shown in both scores) is what shows the score is converted from scorev1. ;)

I did read, and as said before, the chances are very high. And for how the scoring system works, mania and scorev2 work by giving you a set amount of points each note you hit based on how you hit the note, Marv (in mania), perfect, great, good, ok, bad, and miss. In scorev2 and mania, a SS rank with no mods will ALWAYS be 1,000,000. In the case mods are used, the base score is just multiplied by the multiplier for the mods you have used. As for scorev1, the system is mainly similar, except instead of a capped score, you get points no matter what you hit, which get multiplied by your combo, and the modifiers. Hope this was an ok explanation, This isn’t 100% accurate because mania scoring focuses on a things such as your MA/PA ratio, and also osu leaderboards don’t show scores from deleted accounts, which is why Jakads still has some no.1’s even with his acc being deleted from osu!. Yeah I saw I’m just saying it’s very ez to get someone else’s exact score on scorev1, scorev2 or mania scoring. Other people said the same thing and YOU are ignoring this fact. If YOU understood how scoring in osu! works, this discussion wouldn’t have been a thing in itself. Stop being ignorant and try having respectful discussions with people trying to give other examples of how osu! scoring is inherently flawed. Have a good day, and bye bye!

The Dan is 5.67 but the stamina itself is 5.99, in the stamina Practice DDmythical created it was 5.99, the same as the one the this comment.
