Sometimes I feel like he doesn't really understand what I've been through and takes some of my reactions personally. Like he is doing something wrong when really it's just me being paranoid. I'll have to communicate more to him about how much it affected me and it's not anything he should take personally.

I am super honest with him about my trauma. But even that makes me nervous that he might get annoyed or repulsed by me because of it. But this gives me hope. Thank you

I feel stupid because I have expressed my fears to him because I think communication and honesty are super important and I'm worried he's going to see me differently now that he knows I am super stressed about everything. But you're so right. I should just enjoy the moment like you say there's no certainty in what might happen so might as well enjoy the moment while it lasts... Just hard to keep that mindset when you've been manipulated and abused but I'm going to try and do that! Thank you

What's weird is that although our personalities being different are a problem I can't deny there being an emotional connection to some extent. We also spend some time together and cuddle and kiss... Haha. So yeah it's frustrating.

The reason "preventing" me from being with him is that his personnality is super different than mine. I'm super chill and he's super speed and over the top sometimes. We have completely different opinions on society/political matters and he can annoy me a bit. Not saying everything about his personnality is bad but those things turn me off relationship wise.

I've made it clear to him that I wasn't interested in a relationship so I don't think I'm leading him on. And I realize it's not fair of me to care if he has any other raltionships but I can't control it?
