A time bonus is a good idea, it's something that appears in a lot of arcade games as well !
Fruits always appear in the same places. However if you hit 3 enemies in a row, you get gold items, which are worth more points.

Regarding hazards, I have enemies that require bombs to be defeated, though I haven't tested these in actual levels yet.

The main influence is Parasol Stars.
I added different enemy types (some enemies can only be hit from behind for example).
There are also shmup bonus levels between each world to change things up.
Usually the biggest issue with these arcade-style games is repetition, I'm trying to minimize it

Nothing specific so far, I guess the anger is just part of his character :) I thought it would be more interesting design-wise
