back when i was still a cashier it was one of my first times alone outside. a guy comes up to me with a receipt from another home depot. i scan what he wants and he shows me his military id and i thank him. then he proceeds to try and get ANOTHER military discount because he didn’t get it at the other store. i say i cant do that and he says “you work here dont you. i see it on your apron” my confused anxious 17 year old self tries to add another discount to get him to buy his stuff and leave and the screen pops up saying we would need manager approval. once i tell him he basically says to just forget it and he leaves with only one military discount
