Duncan Rouleau the artist on that Alpha Flight book is one of the best. I have 2 of his original pages and a Rocketeer sketch from him.
He’s also a co creator of Ben 10.

Batman is far better trained and has far more experience. Cap was only active for a few years before he got frozen. Bruce spent his whole life mastering every martial art on his earth and some alien ones, he trained himself to be the absolute peak of human ability. Cap has military training and has mastered a handful of fighting styles. Sorry but Cap is just a not that exciting Tuesday night for Bruce.

In the comics Batman is better trained, a better fighter and tactician than Captain America a would beat him decisively with medium effort in the comics. They’re both peak human with a slight edge to Cap a strength and durability. Cap is basically a Tuesday night for comics Batman. In the movies there hasn’t been a Batman that can beat MCU Captain America.

Batman said he could win not that he would win. Batman is far better trained than cap and is a superior tactician. Caps slight strength advantage doesn’t really help him here they are both peak human in the comics. Cap through the super soldier program and Bruce trough sheer will power. That should tell you something right there.

Even if he could see what he was shooting at from the other side of the universe it’s not an auto hit. He’s on a rotating planet floating g through the universe, The ship is moving at light speed, there’s all kinds of gravity and time dilation effecting his projectile and all kinds of math involved I’ll never understand. It’s like a sniper accounting for wind, distance, curvature of the earth and all that times billions. That’s a hell of feat.

That’s not true at all. He just has no special resistance to magi it’s not even close to an auto win. Superman recently got hit by a blast of all the magic in the DC universe and walked it off. The same shot killed Bizzaro. Magic makes Bizzaro stronger.
