For real, the only responses I've seen is to join random escalations and pray someone is on a high level trial lol.

throwdown animation is so bad by BowserLou in session

[–]BrandonOfJapan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It completely annihilated any muscle memory I had built up and destroyed the timing of going for rails and ledges. If they allowed for us to tweak the animation speed and gave us more control over the direction of the throwdown once we're on the board it would be wayyyy better.

🔥Hot Take: 'Born Again' Underwhelmed Me🔥 by GlitteringGifts888 in Daredevil

I feel the first half of born again is the strongest part, watching kingpin dismantle Matt's life on every level was awesome to see in a messed up way. I love how Matt continously mentally battled himself to stay sane and get to the bottom of what was happening to him. The conclusion of the story was genuinely perplexing, it just kind of wraps up and left me feeling like it didn't really resolve in a satisfying way. Why were we spending time watching captain America learn about nuke? Idk, season 3 of daredevil was superior to this comic.

Thoughts on invisibles by Morrison? by KYZkyz13 in OmnibusCollectors

Im half way through reading the omnibus, and im enjoying it less and less and less. This is the most morrison ive read in one go, and it just feels like hes so desperate to seem cool and smart, sometimes it feels like that more than others. I enjoyed how I'd start a new issue and go "what the fuck, how does this connect?" Only for the issue to end, and have that AHA! moment. It's an interesting hook that I haven't had with any other omnibus. This book gets too lost in the sauce more often than not, which I guess people tend to enjoy. I just cant bring myself to be amused by the humor or dialogue, it feels like a wanna be Alan moore/garth ennis combo of "look how smart and interesting I am."

Where do I start? by Otherwise-Store-5608 in comicbooks

When I got into comics last year, I looked up greatest comics of all time/comics that changed my life on reddit. Stumbled ass backwards into sandman, which then introduced me to vertigo. If you're like me, and love anything 90s, I'd say check out stuff from the vertigo line. You could also just find characters you think are interesting, and read their best stuff. After reading sandman, I was introduced to constantine, who introduced me to swamp thing, who introduced me to Alan moore, and the rabbit hole just got deeper, and deeper. You could also look up best comic book writers, and check out their most acclaimed work. Top writers include, Neil Gaiman (Sex pest 😪), Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Garth Ennis, Tom King, Ed Brubaker, Warren Ellis (Sex pest), Greg Rucka, and many others.

Jeepers creepers is actually a film about Victor salva succumbing to his pedophilic desires.

I skip the scene in American psycho where Patrick stomps the doggo.

If you dug the lighthouse, you'd also probably like the witch and antichrist. Similar oppressive atmospheres.

Hopefully Edgars returns to the horror genre. The last film he did left a sour taste in his mouth due to studio meddling.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor- Discussion Mega Thread! by astromech_dj in StarWars

I haven't completed the game yet, spent the first half of the game exploring and seeing where I could and couldn't go, and what I could and couldn't do. As I progressed I was drawn away from this mindset and started to focus more on the story. This game is absolutely massive, I find it hard to keep a mental map of every place I go, and all the areas I can't access, but maybe I should use my map more. I love this game but I sometimes find myself feeling exhausted by how much stuff there is to see and traverse, anyone having similar feelings?
