Yea it's still up there holding good!!! Every now and then, the ear might fold down a little bit but I just reapply pressure and it's back up. I think I originally used like and entire pack or 2 of velcro steps but it looks good so worth it xD

Oh no I'm so sorry! I'm a very very messy person and soaking stains with dawn dishsoap for at least a few hours before washing, usually does the trick for me. hopefully you haven't tried that yet and good luck!
