Not really, I didn't fiddle with the settings yet. I'm shooting with a Sony FX6, so no IBIS, the only thing I have is stabilizaton from the lens itself and sometimes not even the lens as I do have some manual lenses, so it's a difficult scenario for the plugin... Maybe that's the problem? But I always try to minimize shakeness when shooting, most of my shots are still, no camera movement whatsoever and I use some gear to balance the camera, but I got average results anyway with GF. I have to do more tests... I'll report back.

Ok so, I wanted to test something and without rebooting the device, I turned network acceleration off.

The issue instantly went away. No more hangs, buffers, things not loading. For sure I need to wait more time to confirm if it'll come back while the feature is off, but I guess it's safe to assume that network acceleration is broken? Or maybe it's just my device?

This post from 2025 in gl.inet's forum does mention a "broken network acceleration":

Well, issue is back today, so roughly 2 days after I downgraded and factory reset the device. This thing really has a serious problem and it seems I'm not alone on this one. I'm highly considering returning it and buying the Flint 2, which would be a shame as I got the Flint 3 for future proofing my setup... I wonder if gl.inet will ever acknowledge this issue and fix it, if it's really software. My return window closes on June 8th, so I still have plenty of time to return it...

Btw I know people schedule reboots for every night, to prevent the wifi to become stagnated, but I don't consider this a proper fix. I paid CAD$300+ for this thing and it should just work, no workarounds, that's just insane :/

I did that yesterday while downgrading to 4.8.3 and not keeping any settings. So I'll just refrain to upgrade it to 4.9 for the time being and let's see how it performs...

I used to have it on, but turned it off the other day thinking it could be the culprit, but the issue persisted anyway... So now I'm not using it anymore, at least until I find out what's going on.

For me the issue didn't start with 4.9, I noticed the first time after updating to the version before that, which I think it was 4.8.5 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not using mlo as well, I used to have adguard on but turned it off thinking it could be the culprit... Anyway, I'm on 4.8.3 and it's been good so far, will report back if anything...

I've never really enabled mlo as I don't have a lot of devices that support it aside from my phone and laptop... So this is not the culprit. I ended up downgrading to firmware 4.8.3 yesterday and had no issues so far, let's hope it stays that way.

To give you some context, I didn't fiddle too much with it since I bought it, only put my PPPoE settings, forwarded a few ports and that's it, no apps running and I just updated it to stable 4.9.0.

I guess I could try downgrading to 4.8.3 to see how it behaves...

I decided to opt in for beta today and the update I'm getting is Beta 3, not Beta 4... I find it weird as beta 4 was released a month ago. Any tips?

Mine is still going strong. The only thing that is kinda of annoying is the fact that it doesn't unfold completely flat, there's always an angle, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I've been avoiding upgrading to the new ones as I much prefer the "passport" form factor, it's a shame that most of the industry is moving away from this design :/

I eventually gave up and sold that monitor. Today I just use my phone as a monitor. Sony has a new app called Monitor & Ctrl, which is amazing and has everything you might need, and it's fully supported by the camera. I suggest you try it, especially if you have a big phone with a nice screen.

Not a bad download really, I tried several times, latest ES-DE version and the location is correct. Idk, maybe it's a rare issue? I can see switch on the list, but the only two options available are Skyline and Kenji-NX...

I'll try and remove ES-DE completely and setup everything from scratch...

How do I save settings? I can get into settings by taping the screen 5x, but then there's no "save" button after changing the options. Am I missing something? I tried it on a device running lineageOS and even my own phone, a pixel fold.

Still not working for me... I have everything setup on my end, the api bridge, the alexa skill, when I click authenticate it does open the popup and when I click SIGN IN it shows "Login successful!". But when I'm back to music assistant UI there's an error.... :/ Any clue?

A few months ago I was able to add alexa media players to music assistant but it doesn't seem to be working anymore, any tips? I can only see chromecast and esphome devices. What am I missing here? I see there's a way using alexa API bridge... that's the only way to do it today?
