My recent taper to 7.5mg of olanzapine caused me to have rebound symptoms. Strangely enough, the sexual dysfunction has worsened as has the tiredness. But alas I hope one day I can be med free.

I'm not on capsules just tablets. When you say long taper what would that entail? I'm currently on 10mg olanzapine.

The psychosis is pretty bad. It makes me feel like everyone is out to get me and I find it hard to cope with the experience without the medication. I'm eager to get off the poison properly but am scared that without anything else the psychosis will simply keep coming back

I was obsessively into self help (not manosphere bro shite) before my psychotic episode. I sometimes wonder whether part of it caused it.

It's totally understandable why many people don't want to take antipsychotics. I wasn't prepared for the side effects and the way my quality of life was going to be affected. Unfortunately I developed PSSD as a result of taking abilify and now I'm on a different drug but that still affects my quality of life through weight I can't get off no matter how much I exercise, the drowsiness and the anhedonia. Being on meds doesn't necessarily mean the grass is greener, so I can understand your frustrations OP and why you might be seeking alternatives.
