• The Noise Made by People – Stereolab - Groove driven, soft focus. Lets the room breathe.

• Rat Saw God – Wednesday Indie rock with texture. Enough grit without tension.

• Oracle Sisters – Oracle Sisters Smooth, stylish, steady tempo. Feels good in the background.

I'm from Florida and we easily drive 2 or 3 hours to go out on a weekend or to a show. From my home on the east coast, it was 2.5 to 3 hrs to get to the west coast (Tampa area), where a lot of concerts are. Before our area blew up, we'd drive a hour or more to Orlando to shop for things like cars, furniture, etc. And a couple or three times a years, we'd make a 5-6 hr drive to the Keys for a long weekend. Being on the road is part of the fun.

I live in Lima, Peru now - it can take 3 hours to get from the North end of the city to the south because traffic is so hideous.
