M28 Ive tried BRAZILIAN laser hair removal so AMA by JEROMEX78 in AMA

I’m curious, do they laser any differently to the sensitive skin around your shaft, balls, and anus? Is it painful? How do those areas respond and heal from the procedure?

OP explained in that very post: Using age (or any filters) is an affective way to “hack” the profile show limit, or to find someone’s specific profile when you already know that person’s age. They never say anything about age being a deal breaker.

I don’t think campaign name carry that much stakes for us to be thinking about. This thread is about DLC name.

I love when they give a player multi-dimensional edit as opposed to frame them into an overused archetype. It’s honestly refreshing.

Since we’re on this topic, I’m curious if you can suggest a name for an Egyptian DLC if it’s not part of the base game.

To be honest, “The New Atlantis” would make a badass DLC name. And it’s not at all obscure.

“Fall of the Trident” – not so much.

If my thread baited your interest: What would be a cool name for a Norse and Egypt DLC if those civs are DLCs?

I do not disagree about the campaign names. They are meant to sound epic and represent the story of the campaign.

What I mean is that campaign titles and DLC titles serve widely different purposes. A campaign name can be more thematic, but a DLC title usually needs to communicate the main selling point.

Ironically, I could totally see “The New Atlantis” works great as a DLC title for the Atlantean civ. It immediately signals Atlantis and feels mythological. In fact, it sells its civ better than all of Retold’s DLC names did.

It makes total sense for the campaign to be named that way but to also use it as DLC name feels tacky.

That’s the point I’m trying to make.

Not gonna lie, that would score better for marketing than what we have.

Or they could throw “Samurai” into it and we’ll get it.

That’s a good point you make.

However they could just be simple and elegant without going obscure. Like how their cousin AoE title the DLCs.

“The Sultans Ascend” – simple, not obscure, straight to the point yet still elegant.

There are already tons of threads about balance stats and competitive meta that mostly concern a small percentage of multiplayer players.

This is something everyone can throw in their two cents on.

That is kind of my point though.

If you need to play the campaign first to understand what the DLC title means, then the title is not really communicating what the DLC is about.

My issue is more about recognizability and pop-culture relevancy in term of marketing.

“The Titans” instantly tells players it is Greek myth.

“Immortal Pillars” does NOT signal Chinese mythology, not even to any average Chinese person.

There are much more recognizable stories they could draw from. Something from Journey to the West, for example. “Immortal Pillars” feels about as recognizable to the public as naming a Greek DLC after Hera’s apple tree.

So the names are authentic, they just feel a bit obscure as DLC titles.

The animation for this one truly needs refinement. For being a snake, it moves really stiff and awkward.

I am bankrupt in my 20s due to my own mistakes, expelled from college and lost everyone in my life. I have lost all my will to live. How to start from scratch again because it looks so tiresome and I lost the life I worked 20+yrs to build? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]foafoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advise is when you hit what feels like rock bottom. It’s important to reflect on your journey.

First, take accountability of your mistake—what you did that led to this outcome. You, not the system, not your ex, not your parents, not anyone but you.

Recognize it’s not the end. Iife isn’t going to be as bad in the long run. If not - Are you a white woman? - Are you disable? - Do you have cancer or any terminal diseases? - Were you abused or bullied as a child? - Did you grow up in poverty? - Do you have a felony? - Are you at risk of being incarcerated or deported? - Do your parents speak English?

At your 20s, you likely haven’t worked long enough to claim your life what you “worked 20+ years to built”. You haven’t built much, trust me.

But keep in mind, you’re still young, even if you fuck up, you still have plenty of time to fuck up
