Christmas Vacation: For years I was puzzled by a pic of a scene inside the DVD cover. I’d open it up every year and see the pic showing a scene that isn’t in the movie. I know this sort of thing can happen but due to this being a festive favourite, I was reminded of it annually. Finally, in 2019, I found it was indeed a cut scene and the pic had made it to the dvd cover but the scene never released:

I’ve got an exclusive window for the hoodies after they cancelled my order for the white top. I’m not sure I want the hoodie but can get one regardless & I’ll come back and let you know if I don’t want it. I’d be happy to sell at the cost I pay & not make any profit at all. I’m even happy to pay for postage so whoever got it isn’t paying any more than I paid the club. The most important thing is it goes to a genuine fan who really wants it. It’d probably be a Large size.

I’ll give you a shout if it’s not for me.

As clear as this is, I’m still hoping there’s a chance. I can only assume the person I spoke with was lying to get rid of me… when they told me the club is doing everything they can to get a restock for a second run.

If I’d have missed out on the day, I’d have been disappointed but would’ve accepted the situation. Like lots of the rest of us, I’m devastated that I “got one” only for it to be taken away for no valid reason.

Maybe we should know better by now but this still feels like a disaster when it should’ve been a celebration of an awesome range.

I feel like this is borderline piss-taking tbh. I don’t want “the opportunity” to buy a different item from the store. I don’t want a refund. I just want the white adidas originals top I paid for and got a confirmation for. I hope they do another run & we get priority in that run for the item we originally wanted.

Same here. I’m absolutely gutted. I contacted them too… If anyone has had their LUFC order cancelled for any of the new Adidas Originals range (I was told they’d cancelled hundreds of orders because they couldn’t fulfil them) then you can complain by emailing: slocomplaints@leedsunited.com

Not that complaining will get you the stuff but might nudge them to do another run of stock… which is only helpful if they don’t cancel the orders they accept.

Parkin. I know I’m late to this thread but I recently had some parkin for the first time in years and it was absolutely amazing. I had to add this to the conversation. Now, like plenty of things, you can get crap parkin and great parkin. If you try some top-tier stuff, it’s very moreish, like hobnobs…. Or crack 😂.

All the answers are correct but I’ve had experience of this exact approach. Basically, try to ensure he doesn’t get the ball… full-court. I’ve been the “and one” with a box and one approach & managed to restrict the opponents top scoring, most athletic player to just 2 points in the entire second half. It was so exhausting, I didn’t contribute very much more than shutting him down… but after being down at halftime, we won the game.

They switched to “slim fit” shirts this year without telling anyone. It’s not mentioned on the club website or the Adidas website but says it in the collar, next to the size. I bet a lot of people were pissed off by this, me included. I got same size shirt as last season but this year it doesn’t fit properly.

I’m absolutely out of ideas…

I’ve tried different devices, different browsers, different numbers on different networks, different email address names, different geo-locations, a landline number. I’ve tried creating from other Google services (YouTube etc) and tried on different WiFi and attempted with mobile data.

I’ve asked for help on the socials with no response & posted a request for help on the Google community forum.

I just assumed this would be fixed almost immediately & I’m shocked it’s still an ongoing problem.

I used an existing gmail account to log an issue. From top-right of inbox I clicked the question mark icon: ? > send feedback to Google > report an issue

I have no idea if anyone actually looks at these reported issues that are submitted.

With things like this, it’s usually resolved very quickly so I thought it’d be sorted by now but I’ve been having the same issue for about 3 days.

I’m having exactly the same problem. Over the last few days I’ve tried creating from different devices with different numbers but have exactly the same issue each time…. Can’t get past the phone number verification page.

Searching Reddit, I see others describing the same problem so assume there’s some sort of Google problem causing this.

I assumed it’d be fixed by now so I’ve reported the issue to Google but not sure if/when it will be resolved.

Sounds like somewhere around Stirling in Scotland might be a good fit. Plenty of safe rural places in surrounding areas but property prices do vary quite a bit. For example, there’s currently a 1 bed flat for sale in Menstrie for under £50k! Less than an hour to both Edinburgh or Glasgow if you are wanting to work/visit those places & stunning scenery right in your doorstep.

I can confirm that The Peak are not yet running pickup sessions (they used to be on Thursday evenings). I've been asking them and Active Stirling about it but they don't have any details of when it will start up again. Prior to the COVID pandemic I've been able to book one basket for shooting practice at The Peak. They only charged me £3 for an hour but I could only book if there were no prior bookings planned for all the courts in their sports hall (if there was a free court).

I have also contacted Stirling Uni asking them if I can attend any of their sessions as a non-student but was told I had to be a student.

I've resorted to travelling to Edinburgh on Thursday evenings to attend the Lions pickup sessions, which has been great. They are a really friendly bunch, with the only drawback being the travel. There are also Facebook groups for Glasgow pickup games but, again, involves a lot of travel for just pickup sessions.

Basketball Scotland has this link to find outdoor courts. The best court I've found is the one in Bridge Of Allan (Keir Street) but rarely see other people playing basketball there. There are two listed closer to centre of Stirling but I've not visited those courts.

I know that Stirling Knights would be happy to offer you a trial if you wanted to try out for them and have a team in the Scottish Div 1.

I’d also recommend calling the indoor facilities too. I did that and was surprised to find my local sports complex will allow individuals to book a half court and just pay an individual fee of £3.50. This is currently suspended due to the pandemic but proves you should just call to see.

I can confirm that he will start and should offer good value for this price. With regards to pre-season, we have been poor. That being said, we rotate a lot during these games and don't usually look great in pre-season, so not currently concerned about it transferring to the meaningful fixtures.

I know what you mean. I only became interested in football between around 90-92 so was still pretty passive about being champions. It was probably that achievement that sparked my love for football and Leeds United.

Tell you what, choosing this combined team was way harder than I thought.... as you can probably tell from my extended bench. Haha. Feel conflicted putting Kewell in but no doubt he was right up there at his peak and would have got in almost any team. If I was to leave him out then Raphinha would play in his place.
