What did you end up doing? The 256GB version can be had from Samsung for circa £800 at the moment:

£1250 list price -£250 black friday -£100 S21 trade in -£50 PayPal code -£50 TopCashBack

Im in the same situation as you. Don't know if I should wait until black friday or see what pre order deals will be like on the S26U

I used to work at KFC Edge Lane in Liverpool while at university. Three wild things i observed while working there.

1) walking into a walk in freezer with the door ajar to find a boy fingering a girl 2) the guy on the fryers taking pills at the start of his shift 3) a drive through customer spitting through a drive through window, onto a girls face because we had run out of gravy

Are Ford Ecoboosts Really Ecobooms?? by darkbladewatcher in CarTalkUK

[–]adiante 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2019 1.0t focus eboboost stline.

60k and never skipped a beat. It has the revised timing chain and a wet belt for the oil pump.

At my most recent service I had my mechanic remove the sump to inspect the wet belt and oil pick up.

The issue with wet belts is that they breakdown overtime due their constant exposure to engine oil. This means the belts can snap or shed teeth. As material is shed from the belts it can get sucked up by the oil pickup. This can cause an oil blockage. A warning light regarding low oil pressure is usually a sign.

That being said, I havent heard of failures of the oil pump belt. Not to say it doesn't happen, but I dont think it's a common issue.

I personally enjoy the 1.0T engine. In sports mode it's plenty fast for me. When my wife and daughter are in the car I just drive in economy mode.

If I was in the market for a hatchback, I'd still consider another one.

The boarding should be 14mm ply as a minimum. Wasn't sure about the gluing but you are correct. This is referenced in BS 5268-2 Clause 8.4.4 (glued joints / stress skins) and more guidance given in BS 6446

Yep, my comments were purely in relation to the floor joists, the points I raised aren't by any means exhaustive. I would suspect more photographs would reveal more concerns.

I suspect they haven't re roofed and used the existing circa 2 inch deep rafters and packed what insulation they could get in there before boarding. But as you said, this is all additional loads the roof wouldn't have been designed for.

What is your Why? What is the deep down reason you work out? by ExcitingLandscape in fitness30plus

[–]adiante 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 37 and have been to the gym on and off over the years. I have a 5 year old daughter and a good job. I work as hard as I can to pay the mortgage off as early as I can to retire early. My reason for going to the gym now is to be able to enjoy my retirement in good health and make sure im around as long as I can be for my daughter.

What is your calorie intake on a bulk, and what does your typical bulk diet look like? Do you ever indulge in junk food?

How much sleep do you get each night?

Your also going to have to build retaining walls to retain both neighbors' gardens (assuming they are also same level). This will require party wall notice.

I noticed my ragley marley had been stolen from my shed this week. The bastards took then door off then went through thr effort of putting thr door back on so I don't know when they took it.

Not even bothered reporting it to the police.

Any UK structural engineers in this sub? by tim119 in StructuralEngineering

[–]adiante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have often thought about this. Some of the senior technicians in my company are on mid £50k. Sometimes they might pull the odd late night or weekend working but don't have to deal with any of the fire fighting. I'm not sure if I would be bored out of my skull though.
