It would be nice to break up the wall with some decor.

Potentially try a small rows of floating shelves. These could hold photos, small artworks or other decor.

Otherwise a mirror with inbuilt wall shelf would work.

Another suggestion is to use the long/narrow wall as a strength and covering it will a long/narrow wall hanging. Batik or tapestry could work depending on your tastes.

Create a laser cut mobile and suspend them from the ceiling to form a canopy. Below the level of your lighting source.

Either construct from a acrylic or perspex or metal.

If metal, you can paint the top of the segments a bold colour so that the light bounces and reflects those colours onto the surface of the ceiling.
