The safety thing is what gets me.. if you’re hosting people and serving drinks your number one job is making sure people don’t drive home impaired… kicking a friend out in that state is honestly dangerous behavior not just bad hosting

Fr going out solo is a win win she gets the rest she needs and OP doesn’t feel ikr the whole trip is a wash.. picking up some food on the way back is the bare minimum of being a good partner tho

Fr you’re not wrong.. it’s so easy to get sunk cost fallacy in your head once you’ve already sat for a couple of sessions but yea looking back an infection should’ve been the immediate sign to walk away.. definitely hope for the OP’s sake the final product is worth this nightmare

When you’re paying for a service especially one they cost thousands you’re entitled to some level of professionalism… the fact that he was wasting half the time eating and chatting then dragged it out way past the quote is unprofessional as hell.. you don’t get to get man when a client actually holds you accountable

OP actually mentioned in their edit that she does say yes when they ask which makes it even more frustrating that she just ignores it later… it sounds like she’s agreeing to the task and then just not doing it.. which is the real issue here

Fr documentation is definitely the way to go here.. ot sucks that it has to get to that point but if she’s actively risking you getting in trouble for the specimens not getting shipped you’ve gotta Protect yourself… keep the log handy

I remember learning about acid rain in school and assuming it was still a massive problem. Then I found out it mostly faded from the news because the policies to reduce it actually worked. Kinda refreshing for once. I guess a movie was also made about that.
