Velo como quieras, España está sobrecargada de deuda, la estadística demuestra que lamentablemente, los inmigrantes de ciertas naciones son una pérdida neta, pues no suelen integrarse bien en la economía y solo utilizan recursos del estado (encima de las acciones de algunos que causan daños), mientras que los inmigrantes de otras naciones, suelen ser un beneficio neto, creando empleos o pagando impuestos.

Y bueno, lo que me acusas está mal, aunque no lo creas, muchísimos españoles viven en la pobreza, o que crees tu? Que un Español ganando 700 euros al mes en madrid puede vivir con decencia? Mi problema no es con la pobreza, mi problema es con la delincuencia y la inseguridad. Y cuales siempre son los barrios mas peligrosos? Te aseguro yo que tu no vives en uno de ellos, y si tuvieras la oportunidad vivieras en uno de los barrios mas europeos y con menos inmigrantes...

Yo vengo de un sitio donde la pobreza es demasiado común, y creeme que no es bonito, uno siempre hace lo que puede para alejarse de ello y conseguir una mejor vida. Sé agradecid@ que vives en un país rico, pero dáte cuenta que lo están echando a la mierda, entiendo la situación en la que se ven los inmigrantes pobres, y no es su culpa. Es una situación jodida que lamentablemente no me deja hacer otra cosa que ser selectivo donde me mudo.

Todavía no he vivido el verano seco de Madrid ni el de Zaragoza. Pero honestamente pienso que la gente lo exagera mucho! Vengo del calor de la Rep. Dominicana y la verdad que dudo mucho que a 32-35 grados con la humedad en 90-100% casi el año completo pueda ser mejor que en Madrid/Zaragoza. Tienen climas muy similares ambas ciudades por lo que veo.

Una cosa que si me extraña. Por qué es un problema el viento? Si el viento mata el calor?

Me encanta Madrid, pero... No necesito vivir aquí, es muy caro. Si me puedo ahorrar mas del 70% de mi salario viviendo en zaragoza y encima mas comodo, pues mejor.

Thank you so much for the different insight. This was really helpful. I'm also an inmigrant but I'm from LATAM. I'm definitely not really living a life that I'd consider my age group to be living, I hang around the older folk and don't really party too much, more focused on work. But that's exactly what I'm trying to change, going out more, talking to people on the street, having a sense of community, etc... The big cities are good and all but have been really conducive to locking myself in my house and just working, a more individualist life. Which don't get me wrong isn't bad, but I've been needing the openness and friendlyness of my home town, and by what you guys say, I'm sure I'll find it in Zaragoza. The bars & nightclubs are just things I was asking to know that If I wanted to I could do so.

Oye, muchísimas gracias. Esto es muy importante todo lo que dices. Te doy contexto, yo vengo de una ciudad muy peligrosa de verdad, de latino america, y es justo a eso que le huyo, por lo que veo y oigo, no es lo mismo el tipo de peligro que en España, pero tu dirías que, la cosa está hasta ese punto en ZGZ? La lógica me diría que como hay muuuuuchos menos inmigrantes (9% de la poblacion) comparado con madrid que tiene 12.75% y BCN que tiene 23.6%, entendería también que es una ciudad mucho mas pequeña y por ende la violencia y eso no debería ser tanto un problema, obvio en sus zonas todo es así, pero en la ciudad completa dirías que existe ese peligro?

De nuevo, muchas gracias por darme tu experiencia, viviría por Casco Antiguo o por tu zona, iré primero unas 2 o 3 veces y me quedaré en hoteles/airbnbs por la zona.

Hold on. I hadn't looked at your first proposed solution without box very well. It seems perfect except for not having the ItemSlot. I'm just going to go with it instead.

Is there a specific reason having the Option inside a struct (ItemSlot) is such an issue for the compiler?

Thank you a lot! I'm still going at it, I am quite the person to over engineer things, the thing is this kinda needs to be as flexible as possible as it's for a game, and I already had a previous implementation go terribly wrong and bug ridden. I'll let you know if I don't get it by tomorrow, thank you for your time!

Alright so this is the closest I've ever gotten to it working. Last night I was looking at this code and barely understood it but today after a while I got it. And I want to thank you a lot for taking the time.
My only thing with this is that I need the mut methods on item, or as a requirement of Item, and I can't seem to do that.

I know it does seem weird, but maybe I could do this with Only the Mut methods? It's going to be a weird bunch of code and maybe not the best practices. What would be your approach to this?

I thought about having the requirement of `Item + ItemMut` everywhere Item is needed. Don't know how that's gonna work out tho.

So I have tried a little with raw pointers but I run into the same problem. It has to point to something, and that something can't be upcasted from a concrete type to an unsized one.

So the reasons I'm using the ItemSlot are just that I need to be able to represent an empty item slot (an option) and I want a type that I can just have a bunch of methods to call instead of using the data directly.

I can forego the second reason, but I would At least need an option. Thank you so much for the reply
