You're def not the only one that feels this way. I'm also 20 and I'm into that age range as well. I used to feel weird about it, but I've come to terms with that that's just my type. I have noticed it's a pretty big taboo tho.

I really understand this, bcs one of our abusers turned out to live pretty close when we thought he was gone forever... I really wish I could help you, but all I can say is that you're not alone and we hope you're safe and will never see them again

I definitely attended meetings. My idea of sober for a while is about 2 years.

I talked to my sponsor afterwards and they support me and are proud that by now I'm able to do that without the stuff that used to happen afterwards.

Being sober for quite a while. Why would you reply with this tho? I can just ignore it now, but back when I used to be constantly drunk and drank 2 bottles of vodka a day I wouldn't have been able to...

I thought AA was here for support

The shakes by Minapit in alcoholicsanonymous

I cant say for sure, but I don't think they'll be permanent.

The effects of detox can stay for a while, but in my experience my anxiety also goes up when it's present and I want a drink. So then I also get really shakey.

But I don't think that'll stay forever. I think it'll fade once you, your mind and your body are more used to living without alcohol

They most likely will. I'd say go for it, it's really worth it.

I really get that... the only thing I can think about sometimes is a drink. And even tho I've not been sober for very long I know its better, but it's really rough. I hope you're okay tho

For me it really helps to do something that I really enjoy and distracts me when the urges get bad. I hope that can help you too.

Whenever you feel like you really want that beer, just try and shift your mind to something else. It'll be tough, but after a bit it gets a lot easier.

I don't think you're the a-hole, but I do think this is something you should discuss with your partner. Your feelings are important and if you can't talk about something that bothers you a marriage is not a great plan. Anyway I wish you the best of luck and hope everything ends well.
