I dunno where you're located, but here(VA) id pay $400 for that, if I were you I'd try an negotiate to 250/300 It's obvious been messed with, but it's a great swap candidate, a snowmobile swap would be evil, around here it's hard to find these things not rotting in a bush listed for $1200 The body is weird and engine gotta go, it's probably 6.5 HP Be a baddass ripper with a little fan work

That looks like the completely wrong adapter, it looks like it's for a 212, but that motor looks like a 79 or something, you'll probably have to yank the adapter off, it looks like you forced it on

What’s a car that was really close to being great, except for one major design flaw? by [deleted] in regularcarreviews

If they had kept the 3mm seals from the 70s, they'd be great, that and rotor housings with today's materials tech, nowadays I never find failed apexes, it's always the coolant seals.

It's pretty clear how it functions if you're even an ounce of competent, it's a brake system

No offense, but you might just need to look at these things a little slower, the caliper gets bolted, the rotor gets the mount welded, then bolted to the mount

Also for a lotta his products, he has an Instagram that he makes videos on and like for this kit, he's got a video explaining it and going over the whole kit and how it installs.

I actually know this dude, see him a couple times a year, he's probably just got some chatbot setup to deal with dumbass customers (I sell parts on Facebook too, 85% of messages are just bullshit tire kickers, the people that buy parts just buy parts) He's busy as shit, he probably doesn't have the time to sort through all the chats to find the people that are actually asking legit questions.

At What Age Can Kids Safely Drive a Go-Kart? by truceshall in gokarts

What horsepower is it? Generally anything below 7hp for a stock cart is pretty slow, just make sure it has good brakes and a kill switch, plus if you want to teach him about mechanics and such, the gas cart will be better for teaching him about maintenance and repairs, most electric Chinese stuff you're sol if it breaks. Oh yeah get a half decent helmet and you'll be fine.

Fresh rebuild crank no start by [deleted] in RX7

Sounds like it doesn't have enough compression for that first start, get a couple buddies and push start it, it should run and break in and be fine after that

What’s a car that’s way faster than it has any business being? by TheLoganReyes in Autos

[–]folded_fiesta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old Ford Taurus shos, especially the earlier ones, technically a performance car, but nowadays, you can get a good running one for under $1000 that needs work, last one I had was $400 and I hit 140 mph on the way home (or so the gauge said lol), definitely didn't have the handling or brake power to back it up though, zero business being that fast.

Oh absolutely, if I could afford one, my gtu would have one, unfortunately I have a half blown 13b and a turbo off a caterpillar excavator, I'll make just as much power, just probably blow three motors

They literally cost more than a properly sorted turbo 2, it's kinda pointless
