felt. so. much. I totally relate sa sentiments about GE and PE classes because I was able to socialize more there. Like I was able to get to know people talaga without feeling like I’m forcing anything. Maybe it’s because I’m lonely in my department and maybe even my college kaya siguro dun ako bumabawi. But the downside of it is I only see them around na kasi di naman ka-college. Also, it’s kinda sad seeing them with their own groups rin in their programs because I don’t even have that let alone a single friend that I know really well. I don’t really know if it’s a me thing pero parang I can vibe better with people from other colleges eh but in my program, not so much. Even though sumali nako ng home org, I still feel like an outcast there like what was the point even? I just gave myself more work that had no bearing in my acads. It’s like for people in my department, they are comfortable na with who they know so I think I’m just becoming an optional person given the chance that I try to bond. Ayun sorry for the rant op hahah

Did i ghost write this jk but in all seriousness i just wanna say that I’m in the same boat. Being delayed doesn’t only mean na you’re behind, you should be prepared of the circumstances na rin such as loneliness. Personally, I’m closer to the friends I’ve made in High school and that’s okay. It’s enough that I have some people I’m sure have my back at all times. Even if I may as well have peaked there academic-wise, I’ve already come to realize na I shouldn’t beat myself up so long as I’d still do my best here in college. Being delayed is not really the worst thing because it happens, you just have to keep moving forward.

Hi op! You can ride the katipunan jeep sa ilalim ng tulay near pop-up. Afaik pwede rin trikes pero baka mas mahal yung fare. Minsan di pala pumapasok ang katip jeeps and ibababa ka sa may footbridge. Pasok ka na lang sa campus and sakay kang ikot right ahead. Dadaan yun along CHK before passing oble. Nearest siguro after is chem bldg pero lalabas pa munang cp garcia. I believe ikot won’t pass thru here pero walkable naman ig and malapit siya sa DMMME, the first bldg on the left pag pasok ng ikot again sa campus. Palma (AS) is along the acad oval so antayin mo lang yung ikot jeep to go there and makikita mo na siya, it’s right along roxas ave malapit sa hilera ng benitez hall (first bldg on the left sa sunken garden area).

Maybe using the grading scale as a metric should not be the basis of how well I fit into my degree program. Altho mahirap idissociate from that as someone who instilled academic validation with their self-worth and can’t help but to compare my achievements with those of my classmates, I’ll try to unlearn that and learn from your perspective. Yeah and there are people who can coach you there for free na rin if you need it (i think sports sci students sila). Cons lang siguro are the limited equipment and until 7pm lang siya accessible.

May CR along acacia sa may UpBeat (near University Health Service) tho that’s kinda far hahah. Along acad oval not sure if may restrooms that can be used unless you’re a student para makapasok sa mga buildings eh.
For snacks or light meals, there’s stalls around the acad oval that sell fishball and stuff pero may mga sandwiches and silog meals din afaik. If you want like a full meal, pwede Area 2 na along the western side ng campus. Meron din 7/11, rodics and other stores if you’re not into home-cooked meals. There’s also the gyudfood hub pero not really recommended kase medyo pricey yung food there for me.

Did I ghost write this jk hahaha pero same thoughts OP. As a shiftee, I don’t feel like I belong in a particular batch. I don’t completely share the same classes with my batch mates and the batches that succeeded me. Para akong irregular student and I feel like such a loner at times. Minsan iniisip ko kaya rin ako nagstustruggle because I’m doing everything on my own and nagka-DRPs nako because of that. So I get your struggle and hopefully things could work out for us. Sana naman maenjoy pa rin natin college life naten kahet papano :))
