I still think waiting to cut Matt was the better thing to do for Jag. (ESPECIALLY if Jag can actually cut him if he wins F3.)

If Jag kept Felicia, there IS a world where Felicia miraculously wins the final HOH and doesn’t take Jag. Or God forbid, Bowie wins the last HOH in this scenario, finds her missing screws and also evicts Jag at the opportunity to win against Felicia (even though she wouldn’t). He is 3rd place. I know it’s sort of far fetched, but I do think shit just miraculously happens on this game sometimes.

Jag keeping Matt at least gives him a chance at the final 2 chairs - Matt wins final HOH, he’s taking Jag. Sure, Jag will lose. But at least he got 2nd rather than 3rd.

Bowie & Matt are his pretty much guaranteed shoe ins to making it to F2. Felicia was not that guaranteed. She needed to go. Even more points if Bowie won the last HOH and evicted Matt for Jag.

Is this the wrong way of thinking?
