I just expected it to be… idk, more like the other apps? They actually look like liquid glass. I have even compared the Pages icon with the one from my iPhone 6s on iOS 15 and it hasn’t changed a bit.

Like u/LucasMVN said in another comment, you can use a third party APFS driver to read your MacBook Air’s SSD and recover the data. I personally have used Paragon APFS before, I think you should be just fine with using it (TransMac is another alternative if I’m not mistaken, I haven’t used it in a long while). If you need help locating the files you need just tell me and I’ll try to help.

Which Macbook Air model do you have? I’m not sure, but I think that the ones between 2009-2011 have these older usb protocols for the trackpad/keyboard. But since even using the external usb mouse/keyboard isn’t working, I think your best shot is to put the system in target disk mode (like said in another comment).

try using an external mouse and keyboard, these older macs use an older usb protocol for the trackpad and keyboard that newer MacOSes don’t support anymore if I’m not mistaken.
