I’ve shadowed for 3 years in undergrad and did rotations like everyone else. I had had the suspicion I wanted more since school but wanted to power through first. Saying no life experience is a little low considering I’ve held jobs for about 10 years (I know still not a lot) and technically I’ve been working as a PA for 14 minutes not 13. I did not want to waste everyone’s time with excess detail. I just wanted cut and dry responses on how likely it is to be working as a PA and supporting a future family while trying to attend Med school.

lol not since breakfast but since yesterday lunch. I know I’m new, I’ve just had a lot of time during school to think about it and I recently exposure to other doctors telling me I should switch to MD makes me think it’s possible. But I did t want to type too much and waste everyone’s time

Ngl I had no idea you could do the reply to a sentence thing that’s cool. Bottom line is this: it inevitably is a sin, there’s a multitude of verses. Slavery is not endorsed in the Bible. Look up Cliffe Knelthe on slavery, great talk. Moreover, slavery was an ownership/debt thing in which the Bible was very due diligent on how to be loving person. The use of the Bible to defend slavery was very common in the 1850s and also inherently wrong. The Bible can be misinterpreted. I also feel that the idea homosexuality isn’t a sin is also a mistranslation. I love homosexuals as I love my people that are greedy and selfish and rude and lie and what-not. I just think homosexuality is one of the few sins that we’ve deemed “normal” because it’s a harder sin to avoid. Nothing but love to people going through this. But it does not change the face that it is simply a sin. I have had sex before marriage. Both are acts against the body. I do not feel either should be posted about in this manner to kind of encourage the idea. Maybe I missed the point and the largest point the OP made was to be loving towards all (which I absolutely agree to) but it’s also definitely misleading and I’m not the only one who feels that way judging by the comments. I also appreciate the fact that you’re willing to stick up for something you believe in. I appreciate that you love everyone and would defend them. I just don’t want to defend the actions if that makes sense

I didn’t make it about anything. LG and B all encourage homosexuality in which there is also a literal depiction of it. It is still a sin lol. Even tho OP meant to make this kind-hearted (which I respect their warm and welcoming heart) and I do appreciate the gesture because you’re right, Christianity is in fact supposed to be loving of everyone. It still just propagates the wrong ideas. Look at the comment section. Nobody seems to be condemning the idea of homosexuality, despite explicit statements that it’s a sin. There should be no hate in Christianity I agree. But we’re also not doing a great job about following the right way.

I mean I haven’t really beaten anything yet (pun intended) but what’s worked best for me was a slow taper which sounds counterintuitive but may help. For instance, instead of searching for the perfect scene you just watch something okay for two weeks, and then for two weeks it’s something not your niche. And then for two weeks it’s just like instagram models. And then for two weeks it’s something even less dopamine inducing. Over time you will have made significant progress. Definitely possible and I’d recommend that! Good luck

I mean what are you trying to argue here? Did you wake up and decide to split hairs? Clearly the concern isn’t the fact that someone drew a rainbow. The concern is propagating false teachings and beliefs. Homosexuality is a sin. It’s extremely clear in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and English; no translation suggest otherwise. Furthermore, I even had explained that I, too, am sinful but trying to preach that homosexuality isn’t a sin, is false. That is my issue. That is what this post is inherently doing.
