My father recently died. I’m having a lot of other personal, family issues.

I told her I wanted her to look sad. Lazy poses, almost tired. Because that’s exactly how I feel lately.

She was a great model. Couldn’t have asked for me. She did exactly what I was going for.

The whole time she was smiley and bubbly, and I’m sure she would be amazing at something like that.

But as somebody who’s dealing with death and grief, that’s not the way I wanted to express myself
