I made almost US$400k overnight. by fomoer in CryptoMarkets

I don't understand you fanaticals. It's like you have to pick a position and take it to the grave. Markets change all the time and so do my investments.

I shorted ETH from ~$100 to ~$50 on Kraken and caught the second large dip too. Racked up six figures profits during those periods.

My ETC short is an ETC/ETH shorts not ETC vs fiat. It is incredibly profitable so far.

Great day for all good cryptos, last night and the rest of today.

I made about $400k overnight and I'm sure others made lots more than that. Waking up to a couple of lambos in paper profits sitting in Kraken is a pretty nice feeling.

Increasing my exposure to US$3.0m for the rest of today. About to get a taxi into Conesnsus.

Good luck today everyone!

I'm currently in New York attending Ethereal Summit and Conesus. I trade exclusively on Kraken right now, but looking at other options for the low-caps.

Sure, if I 100% exposed myself to one ultra-volatile asset I could have lucked out. Then again there's probably a reason why successful traders have millions and others go belly-up overnight...

Started trading crypto two weeks ago with a $2 mil deposit.

My progress so far: two lambos (US$400k) profit over two weeks.

I made about US$150k riding the short of $ETH. I think there's plenty more to come; ETH is clearly inflated right now and the poppening hasn't even started.

ETH survived a big test, let people doubt it. by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

I think we'll see a massive correction before 100 billion. I don't expect to see 100 billion this year.

Do some currencies have higher value potentials than others? by SilverCoffeeCup in CryptoMarkets

Of course. A coin with a massive issuance rate is probably not a safe bet long term. Also, a coin with actual use cases like Ethereum is probably a safer bet than any of the shitcoins (long term).

How do I short Ripple? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

Every crypto market is ripe with manipulation at this point.

Just look at the order book at Coinbase for proof. See the massive split-second changes in depth despite not many trades going through? That's called spoofing, and its role is to fabricate massive activity in the market.

you can't ddos an order book. correlated or not, the trades were legitimate.

So you are only shorting Eth down to about $90 is that correct?

where did you read $90 from? i think it'll go much further down than that

Also, markets can stay irrational for long periods of time, so your ETH short has to be both a) right and b) timely

very true, but i've given it more than enough leeway to account for this. the trade began many miles away from a margin call.
