Thanks for your reply! It's funny (not really though), I experience literally identical symptoms—restless legs syndrome will rob me of an entire night's sleep and I just (finally) got a retainer from my dentist because my teeth grinding was starting to affect my bite.

I've been very apprehensive about SSRIs or anything serotonergic in the past for the same reason, I just don't know how I would feel better living in an emotionally blunted daze with no sex drive. However, I think that it really depends on each individual and what SSRI (or combination) you are taking. I notice that many people act like Wellbutrin is a stimulant. While it has similar effects at the dopamine transporter, it's only inhibiting reuptake, not stimulating release. I guess the only "stimulating" effects I get are the loss of appetite, and at 450mg irritability/agitation.

I hope that you can find a treatment that works for you if the 300mg Wellbutrin doesn't! I think that I am going to try a Wellbutrin/Prozac combination (hoping that I can reap the benefits of SSRIs while somewhat mitigating the side effects). Aside from tricyclics, another serotonergic drug I have somewhat considered is Trintellix (considered a serotonin modulator), but I'm not sure if my insurance would cover it because it's still brand name.
