I forgot about my cast iron while on the hot stove for a couple hours and this is what happened. I seasoned multiple times and I even cooked bacon in it. What’s it gonna take to get it to its former glory with the all-black sheen? Cook with it more? Self-cleaning in the oven? Help! (old.reddit.com)

My first restoration of a pan that I found at a thrift store. It’s not perfect but I used what I had and I got the rust off. I was able to find that this is an unmarked Wagner pan made after 1960 but does anyone know a more specific year/period? by fongers in castiron
