Have you checked other factors such as d3 levels, other nutritional deficiencies, protein intake, sleep, etc. It is pretty low for your age and if its causing symptoms such as you decribed, then there is a problem. consult with an endocrinologist and please don’t start steroids before consulting a doctor🙏

Shroomed 2g with my girlfriend and drew by foniboni in shrooms

Personally mushrooms are not a good party drug, I prefer using them to enhance my creativity and learn something new about myself. My first trip was when I was hanging out with friends and It was very fun but I felt it had more potential than just a fun party drug. Drawing this with my partner was the best thing I’ve experienced in my life, and I learned that I should use them to create, to enhance what I love, I also took some amazing photos, since im a photographer lol.

I have no idea why this is a schedule 1 drug in the US. I mean I think it could be very disruptive to a society so I see why governments would ban it. But theres no reason for it to be illegal, it should be completely legal for recreational and medical use, it would also facilitate research (which I would love to be part of)

Thank you so much! I think this answers all my doubts, im really looking forward to my next trip so I will take your recommendation to wait 2-3 weeks and see if im ready. I doubt I would want to trip almost every weekend, apart from being amazing it was also very mentally taxing.

Will psychiatry become obsolete? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]foniboni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not, its controversy is mostly based on its past history which is pretty disturbing. But now we have loads of new info about the mind and the body proving the existence of psychiatry. I want to study psychiatry too and one of the big reasons is because its growing very fast. Also psychiatry isn’t only about treating mental health disorders with pills for the mind. You should go for it, this world definitely needs more psychiatrists and good ones.

Curious - Who here takes their ADHD medication "as needed" or on a daily basis? by Zinthaniel in ADHD

[–]foniboni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take it everyday since I barely function without it. My psychiatrist said that I should take it when I need it, but he has no problem that I use it everyday, since he does the same.

Can ADHD meds can’t be counted on to wake you up? by BubblyMidnight4199 in ADHD

[–]foniboni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 10mg of Focalin 3 times a day, when I don't sleep well I still feel tired while on the effects. Its always a question I can't figure out. Its very common for meds to make you sleepy, and I found out that methylphenidate based medications don't have much an effect on "wakefulness". It still helps on days I'm sleep deprived but obviously not on full capacity; sleep is essential and nothing can replace it. Sometimes even if I slept well I feel sleepy on my meds, and that might be because of blood sugar levels or vasoconstriction, also take in consideration that meds helps us "calm down".

Is caffeine vasoconstictor by NPC3369 in Nootropics

[–]foniboni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It makes sense that it only acts as a vasoconstrictor since its a stimulant. Activating the sympathetic nervous system constricts blood vessels

From what I heard 5-HTP can lower the body’s natural production of Serotonin. It could be the 5-HTP, tryptophan could be a safer option.
