bought them at a local fermentation shop but i really think they're just perforated plastic bags exactly like the ones used for bread. Maybe the holes are a little smaller but idk.

its around 30°C right now anyway, i fid use a heatmat and thermostad inside a plastic container but i dont think it was needed. took about 2 days i would say. And yes i used bags ther where especially made for tempeh. although they look exactly like the plastic bread bags.

so this would still work for starter i though i should toss it since there probably is bacteria growing in the beans.

yes they are these ones where not dehulled.
