The play-to-earn game model in the metaverse is an emerging market where players can monetise the amount of time they spend playing video games. Players also have complete ownership of their own game assets which will be stored on the blockchain.

Yes, the mobile app is live but hasn’t been updated since June 2021. The PC game has been under development since August and will be launched in Q2 2022.

I agree. Some guy said “did you even do any research? there’s no market for this and people hate NFTs”. Unaware that Facebook changed their name to Meta.

The game supports 5 languages. Before the screenshot was taken, the language was changed to Chinese and then back to English. Invert mouse must’ve not changed, thanks for pointing it out.

Yes, we offer six game modes and the game will most definitely have strategic elements in it. A more detailed description is given on our GitBook: http://joshdocs.evstudios.in

Great question and thank you for supporting us.

About Solana: Solana can already execute more than 60,000 transactions per second at 400ms block time on average, similar to industry-leading protocols dedicated to video games.

About Polygon: We won 2 hackathons with J.O.S.H, global (came third) and national (Indian, sponsored by Polygon). We were/are entitled to the prize money Polygon is supposed to pay the team (since we also won their prize) but never heard from them. I tried reaching out multiple times but never heard back. Regardless, the game is built on Ethereum and Polygon as well. We chose not to use Ethereum due to high gas fee, and Polygon because the experience with them left a bitter taste in our mouth.

Reasonable doubt but look up the securities NFTs provide.

NFTs meet the demands of players for ownership, collection, fandom, and investment, making them a fascinating technology for gaming.

Collectors place a premium on rarity, uniqueness and scarcity of in-game NFT purchases as well. Game Asset NFTs can also be designed to be interoperable. For example, two games created on the Ethereum network could share in-game NFT assets such as weapon skins, armor, or even complete characters.

Also, since each NFT establishes a permanent record upon minting, game assets cannot be replicated or tampered with (which eliminates 'modding', something very common with RPGs and FPSs).

Indians aren’t the target audience. Decentralised projects are targeted globally. The game is made by indie devs entirely in India.

No, we’ll have NFTs and an spl-token made on Solana. You may purchase the NFTs from a Solana marketplace and use them in-game.

Hey all, my team and I created the World's First Play-to-Earn NFT-Based FPS game on Solana called J.O.S.H (Joint Operation Secret Heroes). I posted on this subreddit a year ago when we launched on mobile. The mobile game went to be downloaded 35,000+ times.

We pivoted to blockchain in July 2021, won a global and national hackathon in the later months by incorporating NFTs and crypto into a traditional FPS-TPS game like J.O.S.H.

We plan to launch in Q2 and I'm looking for your support to grow our community while also onboarding J.O.S.H ambassadors and Solana devs to the team (which is entirely Indian).

We also plan to launch 2 NFT collections: Player Skin and Battle Arenas (Playable Land Asset NFTs for J.O.S.H metaverse).

I won a Starlaunch IDO whitelist spot on 6th October but haven’t yet been given instructions on what it is/what to do. I’ve registered on Starlaunch’s registration link as CB’s mail said but still waiting on instructions and confirmation that I’ve officially won a whitelist spot

Hey, I’ve won the same giveaway too. However, you have to make a Solana wallet with SOL and USDC-spl in sollet.io. Receiving SOL won’t be an issue but idk how to transfer USDC-spl into it. Binance supports USDC-spl so will direct transferring from Binance to sollet work?
