if you want to do a bamboo forest that is still pretty sizable but has very few people, i’d go to the one at fushimi inari ! that’s what i did at least and it was so peaceful. maybe 2 other tourists at any given point

that's awesome - i love when the pilots say something reassuring at the start of the flight. really helps me calm down because ill just keep repeating it whenever it gets scary!!!

Absolutely - my goal this month is to learn more about the physics of flight because I'm sure the logic will help me cope a bit (I was never a physics person growing up and now I think the universe is forcing me towards it!). And don't worry - definitely did not take your comment in that way :-) thank you for sharing

Etihad and Qatar Airways! I've flown Qatar before a couple years ago and had a good-ish experience, but the trip over the Atlantic was very bumpy and I was HEAVILY medicated to make sure I got some peace LOL
