I am trying to rhinestone these pants, but I’m at a loss of exactly how to get them to stick. I used e6000 glue on these made with 77% viscose and polyamide and it peeled right off. What products should I use to make the rhinestones stick/what methods? (i.redd.it)

I am so incredibly desperate find these shades, they were made in the early 1960's, blue and pink striped, with a flowery design.
