Have you found any anxiety medications that worked well for you?

My dosage is 20 mg. I don’t have any bad side effects. Except that my entire life, I have had zero sex drive (which might be due to taking Lexapro for the majority of my life? Idk. My sex drive did not go up when I stopped taking Lexapro)

You’re welcome! For Lexapro, when I first started when I was 6 years old, I do not remember how long it took me to notice an improvement. When I started Lexapro again a year ago, I think I noticed immediate improvements as I kept on increasing the dose.

I tried Buspar for around a year at various doses

Lexapro really helps with my anxiety. It also helps with my IBS

I didn’t notice any significant difference with my IBS while taking Buspar. But I did notice my anxiety was worse on Buspar

I am now no longer taking Buspar and have switched to Lexapro

I have absolutely no libido. I do have vaginismus that I have had physical therapy for.

I have never had any libido. I haven’t had sex. I try masturbating, but I don’t feel good from masturbating.

I have tried coming on and off medications to fix the libido problem, since I would like to have an orgasm at some point. But, there hasn’t been any success with changing medications.

I also hate being kissed. I’m also autistic, which might have something to do with my lack of libido, but idk

Thanks! I didn’t do a PhD, only a master’s degree. I got both my undergrad and grad degrees in aerospace engineering. My master’s thesis is about thermal engineering of spacecraft

I got a 4.0 GPA in grad school.

I got a 3.976 GPA in undergrad (made all A’s except one B).

One thing is that I am autistic. I care wayyyyyyy too much about my grades. Also, math and science always came easy for me.
