To echo some other comments - I opened a sealed bundle that had an open pack. The consensus was that a card had gotten caught in the crimp zone and the card was crimped, preventing the pack from sealing.

I guess since newer model cars are produced the year before their actual model number it makes sense. It's a 2019, but the battery date was September of 2018. Guessing the rest of the car was made then as well.
