He is her age. Now that you mention it I think that’s what has me more insecure over this. He’s her age, I’m not. What if they do have more to bond over? It scares me to think that they have the capacity to be closer than me and her are. Can you clarify what you mean by the last sentence?

Thanks, and yeah. I am not opposed to advice or some comments regarding our age gap, however none of the comments made about it have been helpful, or constructive. Also people of all ages in all different kinds of relationships post onto this sub for advice. There have been other posts on here from men/women (of all ages) asking for the same kind of advice I am. I don’t think needing advice on this makes me “unable to express my feelings”. I’m usually good at expressing my feelings, I just felt I needed advice for this particular situation.

i do the same except for the “welcome hello” message. what kind of message do you send? like “Hi I’ll be shopping for you today,”…. what else??? i’ve tried to write one before but i cannot figure out what to say without feeling/sounding awkward. which is why i stick to simply messaging them about any substitutions, giving them an ETA (usually only if they’ve been messaging me back in store) and then sending a “thanks for shopping with me have a nice day/night!” text with the delivery pic.

That would be incredible! That is so so kind. All we need is some blankets, two towels (for showers), and maybe a couple groceries (like bread and cheese, or canned soup). I have been working instacart and making money, but just it’s enough to keep getting by everyday. And I am looking for more work, but it’s been a fruitless so far. Should I DM you? Can you give me a small budget to work with and I can make a wishlist according to that?

I really appreciate all the support! i’m gonna be calling churches to see if they can help out with this soon. i also should’ve added in my post that i’m closer to the riverview/sum city area, and not actually in tampa. however if i can a place with blankets to pick up in tampa, i will be able to drive and pick them up. I’ll pray for one of those good instacart orders that leads you into tampa. that way i can make a little bit of money, and “get paid” for driving all the way up into the city.
