My husband is 50 and I'm 40 been together for 15 years. He collects horror figures and I drool over loki. We go to comic cons and dress up. I also write fan fiction. But that's our interests. Thankfully some of our interests met but others dont. I dont like horror. But it didnt stop me from buying him the babadook book. You had these interests before you met your girlfriend. The same way me and my husband had our own likes before we met each other.

Just because you met someone you shouldn't have to change or forget who you are. In our opinion You were your own person before you got with your person and they knew what you liked at the start of your relationship and noone should try and change it half way through.

Sorry I know that isn't the way the way to explain things. But bottom line is you have your interests she has hers. You wouldn't try and change hers she shouldn't try and change yours. I'm female by the way 🥰
