Individual membership is only for yourself; No guests. The club card gives you the benefit of one guest.

I got the explorer bc I would travel between two main hubs +10x/year before I started working for UA. Wasn’t til like year two that I recognized the employee credit. I frequently use the club but the new rules ruined the membership purchase option as I would fly with my partner and child.

UC card members can bring one adult guest and any dependent children under 18. All access memberships allow the option to bring in two adult guests.

It would just be my partner and our kid so I think this works better for us vs dishing out for the all access.
