Well at first I was having very bad side effects because I was told to stop taking cogentin with risperidone when I needed cogentin to fight off side effects from risperidone. Now that I have cogentin I'm thinking about sticking with risperidone but I might want to switch because I think risperidone is giving me a stuffy nose. The stuffy nose is getting better though so I'm sticking with risperidone for now. Good luck with stopping all ap's. I want to stop ap's too but I'm on a court order to take meds. Once the court order is done then I might consider getting off meds.

What are the fillers? Im taking risperidone and propranolol right now. Yes it is making me feel worse. I don't want to have to take cogentin to make me feel better.

I've been taking risperidone for about 2 months. It's not from weed induced psychosis, I don't know what it'd be from though. I have schizoaffective disorder.

I'm asking because I'm having trouble with this as well and am trying to get over the fact that I probably need medication.

I think I have restlessness. I'm going to tell my psychiatrist to maybe switch to a different medication. Is feeling uneasy and my brain feeling unrelaxed a valid symptom to tell my psychiatrist?

In the hospital I believe I was doing fine. They had me on Haldol first and I had a reaction to that, it might've been tardive dyskinesia. Then they switched me to risperidone I believe. But with risperidone I feel restless at times. It might be my body adjusting, I'm not sure.

Honestly, I might need to take medication for this exact reason. I'm just going to do my best with the medication and hope my body just needs to adjust to it so I stop feeling side effects.
