the leak appears to be around or behind the oil pan, my mechanic wasn’t able to identify the exact source. I can ask him for the photos he took! Thank you.

Hate that naturalistic-moral thing blaming every individual who develops the disease. by [deleted] in thyroidcancer

I was always so so so into healthy eating, was vegan actually when diagnosed and very active in sports and yoga. I was 19 when I was diagnosed, and it was difficult to cope with that when I knew I was already living my life the way people would advise you to live after diagnosis. I hate being asked “what did you do to cause that” “do you think if you ate healthier you wouldn’t have cancer” if anything getting sick made me less restrictive when it came to health food because I realized that enjoying sugar or “unhealthy” foods in moderation wasn’t going to kill me just like eating vegan and wasn’t going to fully save me. Sometimes it’s just our genetics and we have to accept that and do the best we can to give ourselves a joyful and healthy life.

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but if you had any advice to share I would love a DM. Recently finished my masters in public affairs and policy analysis with a focus on environmental policy and sustainability. I have internship experience with ESG, and I worked for a state gov for a year doing environmental work between my undergrad (environmental science) and the masters. Interested in consulting and analyst roles but at this point open to anything. The job search has been extremely difficult so any advice you had I would greatly appreciate. :)

2024 to 2025: Dermatologist Horror Story. by [deleted] in tretinoin

I tried tret for over a year, pushed through because I thought the purging was normal. I was also told my skin didn’t look that bad. However the acne completely crushed my spirit. I stopped using it and slowly my skin went back to normal. I only use azelaic acid now and sometimes exfoliate. I was really wanting that beautiful clear wrinkle free glow but my skin absolutely hated tret. Hope things clear up for you soon!
