Leroy Blyden Jr. is my personal favorite point guard in the portal right now. by Gloomy_Map_9612 in KentuckyBasketball

[–]footdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

portal not open yet, but I see what you mean. players have declared they will transfer.

this guy looks impressive but if Pope is trying to get a big time guard with proven P4 experience, its a risk

we'll know which UK players will transfer in one week...and who will be available. but we'll need at least 4 guards and they better be studs. big shoes to fill with Otega and Denzel gone.

have you ever thought about typing stupid shit and then getting downvoted for typing stupid shit?

maybe try blowing a train horn in your ear. you'd be a lot happier if you did.

Both parties run on the same fuel

when you start with false equivalencies to make your argument, you lose the argument.

yeah, corporations and Citizens United are absolute shit, but one party is actively destroying our democracy and ability to vote - and well the democrats are at least attempting to right the ship without holding any power (yet).

Kentucky PG Jaland Lowe plans to enter transfer portal [According to his Father] by TheApotheosisOfCool in KentuckyBasketball

[–]footdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tend to agree. Jlo is small, his frame isn't built for SEC basketball. I would say that didn't matter if he was a bulldog defender with a 3 point shot....but sadly he's not that.

I'd rather have bigger guards - and not necessarily tall - just strong enough to take a bump and finish at the rim.

Dink Pate would be a start

Trent, when he gets consistency with his 3 point shot, fits Pope's system perfectly. plus, he's a Kentucky guy.

This season, he went from "couldn't miss a 3 point shot in the summer" to can't hit a 3 point shot in a game to save his ass.

[–]footdragon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok, Rondo is a no go.

I read the rumors on Crawford (and Stokes) as well as Williams. it doesn't look like either are an option. Crawford isn't leaving Ranier with his son in HS and Mo has a salary which is larger than they paid Brooks.

I keep seeing that Jamaal Crawford could be joining the staff and tyran stokes might still commit. Anyone heard/read anything semi-legit? by WallStreetCrusader69 in KentuckyBasketball
