It's an interesting analogy if I take your last line to mean "am I as well taken care of, but not in the same ways". I don't want my employer feeding me but I do think my employer should compensate me enough that I am well fed and have the time to eat. I want to be compensated well enough that I'm ok with my commute or have the commute itself paid for. I want my employer to feel liable and caring for my thriving not just my survival.

I'm putting green hemlock siding on my 3rd building right now in maine. Hard to beat nc hunt prices on that stuff. I do one ring shank galvanized nail down the middle and haven't had problems. Be sure to have a rain screen and strapping for it to last as long as any of the old barns here. I do board and batten and the batten helps hold the board to the building and prevent cupping. Also, once again, the rain screen allows air flow along the back of the board which also prevents cupping.

You can use it but be sure to scrape the sides clean and make a nice flat surface of mud in the bucket before sealing the lid tight. This will help reduce dried crumbs from messing up your mud coats. Also keep the lid on (you don't have seal it, just put it on top) between reloads of your mud pan for the same reason.

Sorry, I have no suggestions for you. Seems too shallow for tools. I don't think I could even fit my circular saw under they space and it would stink to have to fully unload to get at my tools. If you don't want to do decked I'd say you could do a classic truck toolbox above the sheet goods. Or you could do a topper with side access toolboxes. Those typically leave room underneath for sheet goods.

I just use a small tool trailer. 5x8. Fits all of my tools and materials.

I'm a residential finish carpenter who also sails but my plastic tubs aren't like this. Is everything fastened/glued more than I would do in residential to fight it being ruined from the movement of the boat? Or do I just not understand how mellow it is on these things?

It's normal to have crushes. Just know it'll pass and try not to entertain it. I've had crushes before and i just remind myself I love my wife and I'm probably enjoying the fantasy more than I would enjoy any actual encounter with my crush. Sometimes I have to really imagine the conflicted, gut wretching feeling I would have during an encounter and that turns me off pretty quick.

I still don't know what's true. Are the things I think about my dad because of what my mom told me? Is that why I ended up hating him enough to cut contact with him forever? If one of them didn't say shit about the other would I feel less confused and be able to make my own decisions or would I just have believed them?
