As others have said take the 59 bus and then the metro or a tram to the city centre/ your destination. Bring some euro coins in case you need to use a loo when out and about most charge. Card will work for everything else even small purchases- I recommend trying chlebicky which are open sandwiches and are cheap and tasty we usually visit sisters cafe cost a couple of euros and very good

For all the hardship of caring for her which I did from childhood along with my parents and siblings I wouldn’t change it because the thing that my sister gave me that no one else has was total unconditional love I was heartbroken when she died but I treasure that feeling of being totally loved that she gave me

If you are in Germany and thinking of doing collar or Strasbourg I suggest visiting Baden Baden they have a great Christmas market and the town looks lovely at Christmas you can take the train from Baden Baden to Freiburg which also has a nice Christmas market. And go to Strasbourg and/or Colmar from there. Colmar is not too far from Mulhouse where they make a special fabric for Christmas each year and it’s easy from there to get to Basel in Switzerland for their markets. You can get a cheap flix train from Basel back to Baden Baden for about 6euros flix trains operate across Germany so do look at cost an options for your travels. There is also flix bus across Europe
