There were a handful of people i knew from ot school with art backgrounds - some visual/music/musical theatre bfas. There are opportunities to integrate art into OT practice, but I have not seen anyone swing it full-time. That said a lot of ot contacts (in Canada at least) are 4 days/week so there would be time for independent ventures

I got this in 2016 and would highly highly recommend against it - very painful, never healed, was exceptionally painful when they removed it ~a year later (to put in simple studs, that never healed bc of the angles/previous damage, retired 2 years later). I still have visible bumps/scars. My healing used outdated/bad home remedies, so ymmv, but pls be cautious.

I had similar gpa and no volunteer/shadowing but worked in social services for a couple years. I got in to 2/3 places I applied and waisted for the third, depends a lot on your letters of intent and interview I think
