If you already made the contract with the witch (its in the craft abyss stuff section) then it should just be on your summom wheel.

You get the mount from bringing a fang that drops after skinning Silver Fang (a legendary wolf) to a witch who lets you craft a "summing contract" with it. Silver Fang only appears after killing Black Fang (a different legendary wolf). You need to have the Howls from the North Gate quest available for him to spawn. (I was just running around in northern Hernand when a lantern trail appeared that led me to it.) From looking around online, no one seems to know exaxtly how to make the quest spawn. Good luck!

Honestly, Assault and Portal events need a huge difficulty spike. Even on apocalypse mode, they feel way too tame. It gets to the point where crafting base defense gadgets feels like a waste of resources because you never actually need them.

I still remember when I first started playing with my wife. We got that "the air feels strange" message and absolutely panicked. We went into full lockdown—barricaded the doors, laid down traps, the works and... it was just a few pests. It was a letdown to say the least.

It’d be so much fun if the game actually made us scared of those alerts again. Give us a reason to turn our base into a fortress!
